Here is an extremely rare to find private stock grade warmoth custom shop guitar. Your eyes aren't deceiving you, this is a solid through super high grade private stock book matched Quilt/ flame maple body build. Not a cheesy veneer, totally solid through, non chambered. Impossibly rare to find or reproduce today. The wood for this build was from Warmoths personal private stock wood stash in the late 90's early 2000's, As a result the wood alone for this build was over a 1,000$ in the early 2000's. Today would be a completely different story, and it would be extremely unlikely to see due to the fact that the wood from this body would make 5 to 8 super high grade veneer tops at a finished body price of 700+$ each of warmoth guitar bodies. (it is assumed this was a purpose show built custom guitar, as it is numbered 001 in the tremolo spring cavity. A former Warmoth employee I contacted vaguely remembers this as a possible show build). The specs on this guitar are, solid through private stock grade book matched body in cherry burst color. total guitar weight is around 8.75 pounds total. Pickups are seymour Duncan screaming Demon George Lynch pickup in bridge. Seymour Duncan Hot rails neck pickups in mid and neck to finish the hot rod strat tone theme. (Very versatile tones for everything from country to metal!) crl usa 5 way switch, cts tone pot, bourns high speed volume pot. (2nd lower tone pot is dummy not wired) Tremolo is a German made schaller with roller saddles. extremely smooth and stable. trem bar mount is like a mini version of a collard schaller floyd rose trem bar, pretty trick! Neck plate is a solid brass ala pre pro Charvel, (Guitar was updated with decal & neck plate etc to give tribute to the soild through high grade wood custom shop san dimas guitars of the early 80's) abalone knobs round out the body. Neck is a high grade birds eye maple. neck conture is a medium c, kinda reminds me of a charvel san dimas profile. very fast and comfy. 10 to 16 warmoth radius, 6150 frets, 1-5/8 bone nut. (1-5/8 brass nut will be included if a more vintage charvel flavor is required, as well as a new switchcraft end jack.) neck has abalone fret markers. Fret side of neck is factory gloss finished. rear of neck is smooth satin for a super fast feel. action is low and fast for shredding. Neck water slide is under a few lite coats of nitro lacquer and can be removed if another flavor of water slide is desired. Tuners are locking german schallers. General condition, this guitar shows honest wear from limited occasional professional use as it close to 20 years old.  That being said it has honest use swirls/ pick scratches, limited edge impressions, typical neck pocket clear coat finish cracks. These clear coat cracks are minute, superficial and merely cosmetic. (Just being upfront as to general condition as this is after all a vintage guitar.) Early Warmoth clear coat urethane finishes are notoriously hard and often show clear coat finish cracks in the typical stress area's. otherwise this guitar is relatively clean for its age. body has front route at neck pickup for easy truss rod adjustment ala vintage charvel. Ask questions, as this is NOT a mint condition new guitar. fret condition is very good with no major dents or divits, nice low fast action. This guitar plays and sounds amazing and is very gig or recording ready. This guitar has a great balanced tone that cuts through a band or recording mix without being to bright or to bass heavy. One of the absolute best Warmoths I ever owned out of 10 high grades of all wood combo's imaginable. Only selling this guitar to help fund a PRS Custom 24, (And will more than likely end up regretting selling it for sure!) My loss is your gain on this super rare hard to find piece!!! payment due at sale end. no case but will be expertly packed for safe shipping. contact for a possible price savings.
