1962 Fender Pro Amp Brownface 1X15" Guitar Combo Amplifier VintageThe Fender Pro is a beloved work horse by renowned guitar players from across the world. The Fender Pro was first introduced in 1946 and were produced until 1965, eventually being replaced by its offspring, the Pro Reverb. These amps have a unique "underwater" tremolo sound that you will not find in a tweed or blackface version. After testing this amp in our studio, it is no wonder why these amplifiers are so sought after and desirable. The original speaker has been replaced with a Weber Classic Alnico 15A150. Ted Weber Speakers are built with tighter, more concentric voice coil gaps, and lower carbon, machined steel parts in the magnet circuits which yield a stronger, more controlled tone at all volumes, particularly in the low end at high volumes. The 15A150 has a big low end, smooth high end, later break up and compresses at higher volumes.This Fender Pro Amp is vintage and shows some light wear. The grill cloth has some minor tears and markings.
