Audix MicroBoom MB8455 includes the Audix 84" MicroBoom arm with the high-quality M1255B mini cardioid condenser microphone. In the MicroBoom MB8455 package, the boom can be used in either a horizontal or a vertical position, while the upper end of the boom holds a mini-XLR connector to securely hold the mic in place. The microphone has a built-in low noise preamp so no bulky external supply is needed.

The Audix M1255B is a high-output cardioid condenser microphone delivering superb sound. It has a fully integrated preamp and detachable cable, as well as strong shielding from interference. It's a great overhead mic for choir and group vocals, on acoustic instruments, for ambient room miking, symphonic area miking, speech presentations, cymbals, and more. The M1255B features interchangeable capsules - Audix makes optional hypercardioid, supercardioid, and omni capsules - adding to the versatility of this great-sounding mic.
