Hipshot locking tuners.Words from the builder himself.The body and neck have 6-courses of finishThat guitar, as all of mine are, is tough as nails. Don't babysit it - PLAY THE CRAP OUT OF IT!!!The pickup is super sensitive to pick/finger attack. Exploit its dynamics along with the volume and tone controls - they actually work perfectly together.I went with a 500K volume pot and forwent the bright cap. You can use a 250K volume pot for a little warmer tone. "Dealer's choice" as I like to say.The guitar can be sweet and silvery, or a runaway freight train.This one is a beauty and feels as amazing to play as it looks.
