This guitar is in PRISTINE cosmetic condition - as close to MINT as it gets!
Showing no scratches or dents! Ebony fretboard is in FANTASTIC condition as well. Original frets shows close to no wear. Neck is perfect and has a killer soft V rounded profile which seems like it plays itself! Super nice, easy action and AMAZING playability! These first issue Clapton's with the original Lace Sensor Pickups blow away the newer releases. With a mixture of the lace sensors and the TBX and mid boost this is the best sounding electric guitars out there! Lace Sensor's are lovely and bright, complimenting the maple neck perfectly for shimmering bell like tones, beefing up nicely with a little extra gain. The neck pickup which sounds great on its own can be sweetened up by increasing the TBX. It makes the guitar chime and makes your amp sound very fendery with sweet top end. This is also very useful for cuting through the mix. This is a tone machine that gives you the best of both worlds. Everything about this Strat rocks!
