1993 Ibanez 540SLTD - Dimarzio/Bare Knuckle
Estimated price for orientation: 725 $
Category: Electric Guitar
Class:
Description Brand: DiMarzio Model Year: 1993
This is straight from Ibanez's Golden Era of production. In incredible shape. Sound sample - all guitar tracks are this guitar: soundcloud.com > frankdesalvo > history Body is in great shape with only 1 minor clear coat ding on the face, which could be drop filled to repair. These guitars are usually used and abused with severe paint damage along the outer edges. No neck pocket cracks. I completely detail stripped it down to the individual components, cleaned, buffed, and lubricated everything. Frets are polished, tuning gears and trem are cleaned and rubricated, paint has been buffed and sealed, etc. Nothing for you to do but play. I am a professional guitar tech and amp builder. No need to worry. Dunlop Straplocks installed. Could use a new tremolo cavity cover. Has a few minor signs of wear throughout but it's in outstanding condition. Neck is straight with fully functional truss rod. No cracks of any kind with plenty of fret life left. Recently set up with Elixir 10's, so it's ready to go with low action. Gotoh/Japan Allen key holder behind headstock, so you can service guitar anywhere you have it with you.
Electronics feature Dimarzio Gravity Storm neck/bridge with Bare Knuckle 63 Veneer middle single coil. Wide range of fat lead and rhythm tones with very sweet cleans. New selector switch. Guitar is 100% reliable with no issues, buzzes, or etc. Trem knives and locking studs are in great shape, as well.
This guitar needs nothing. Comes with worn, but protective non-Ibanez hardshell case. Includes tremolo bar and Allen keys. Set up with Elixir 10s. I've done my best to describe the condition of this guitar. Feel free to email me for add'l info.
