Laney Klipp 100Watt + 4X12 Orig. BoxHallo, (Deutscher text befindet sich unten)For sale is an extremely rare vintage Laney Klipp 100 Watt Tube head, and original Laney speaker box from 1972 in excellent + condition. Built in the UK. Serial number 33X1141It has 100 Watts of pure tube power, and can be very LOUD, but the amp also sounds great at lower volumes as well, and a lot of 100 watt can't do that. Very similar to the Laney Supergroup amplifier made famous by Black Sabbath, plus a retro semi fuzz crunch channel, which is also valve driven. The Klipp channel is about the most evil sounding distortion ever and is known to be Toni Iommi's secret workhorse. Although the Normal channel is basically like a hot plexi-type tone, it is loud and starts to break up really nice & nasty at around 5-6 on the volume, so it’s got to be used in a loud situation.Aside from the KLIPP control, Both channels also have a TOP switch, which Boosts the signal/volume and Highs WAY UP! It seems twice as loud with this switch on, but you got to roll off the mids/pres when this switch is engaged, unless you are in Ice -pick - in -brain mode. It’s great for Vintage Metal & slashing punk tones & the normal channel is good for a Loud wiry raw tone.
It’s a great rock amp. The build quality is at least as good as the best old Fenders and Marshall’s. The high voltage gives a huge amount of headroom, which matches up very nicely with the "klipp" circuit. The Klipp circuit is very rich, crushing and smooth. Aside from the "klipp" circuit, the amp is very similar to a Marshall Super Bass. It’s got a modern space age look which I love. Very 2001-space oddity vibe.It has its original 1970s Partridge transformers for great low end extension and girth. 4/8/16 ohm switchable impedance. Various mains voltage options also. It comes with its original 4 x 12 Celestion speaker box, which is near impossible to find. It features 4 original vintage Celestion blackback speakers. Extremely rare! The whole rig is in amazing condition and perfect working order. With A/B testing on the Klipp channel, with top switch off, it is very similar to my Marshall Plexi in sound (see photo). The Tolex covering is in Top condition. No issues or repairs. Sounds amazing!The Klipp is rare and these don't pop often...plus, the word is getting out and the values are going up. Sehr ähnlich wie die Laney Supergroup-Verstärker berühmt von Black Sabbath, sowie ein Retro-Halb-Fuzz-Crunch-Kanal, der auch ventilgesteuert ist. Der Klipp-Kanal handelt von der bösartigsten Klangverzerrung und ist bekannt als Toni Iommis geheimes Arbeitstier. Obwohl der Normal-Kanal grundsätzlich wie ein heißer Plexi ist, ist er laut und fängt an, richtig gut & böse bei etwa 5-6 auf der Lautstärke zu brechen, so dass es in einer lauten Situation verwendet werden muss. Abgesehen von der KLIPP-Steuerung haben beide Kanäle auch einen TOP-Schalter, der das Signal / die Lautstärke steigert und die Highs WAY UP! Es scheint mit diesem Schalter doppelt so laut zu sein, aber du musst von der Mitten / Vorderseite abheben, wenn dieser Schalter aktiviert ist, es sei denn, du bist im Eishöhr-Modus. Es ist großartig für Vintage Metal & Slashing Punk-Töne & der normale Kanal ist gut für einen Loud Wiry Rohton. Es ist ein großer Rock-Amp. Die Bauqualität ist mindestens so gut wie die besten alten Fender und Marshalls. Die hohe Spannung gibt eine riesige Menge an Headroom, die sehr gut mit der "klipp" Schaltung zusammenpasst. Der Klipp-Kreis ist sehr reich, zerquetscht und glatt. Abgesehen von der "klipp" Schaltung war der Verstärker einem Marshall Super Bass sehr ähnlich. Es hat einen MODERNEN / Space Age Look, den ich liebe. Sehr 2001-Raum Oddity Vibe. Es hat seinen ursprünglichen 1970er Partridge Transformatoren für große Low-End-Erweiterung und Umfang. 4/8 / 16ohm schaltbare Impedanz. Verschiedene Netzspannungsoptionen auch. Es kommt mit seiner ursprünglichen 4 x 12 Celestion Lautsprecherbox, die nahezu unmöglich zu finden ist. Es verfügt über 4 original Vintage Celestion Blackback-Lautsprecher. Sehr selten! Die ganze Anlage ist in erstaunlichem Zustand und einwandfreiem Zustand. Mit A / B-Test auf dem Klipp-Kanal, mit top off, ist es sehr ähnlich zu meinem Marshall Plexi in Sound. Der Tolex ist in Top Zustand. Keine Probleme oder Reparaturen. Klingt erstaunlich! Die Klipp ist selten und diese nicht oft Pop ... plus, das Wort ist immer aus und die Werte steigen.
