This is a 1964 Kay Custom Kraft Ambassador. These guitars were part of Kay's house brand during the 1960s and were offered by St. Louis Music alongside amp champions Valco. The Ambassador has a bolt on neck and is armed with a single DeArmond-style single coil pickup. It is lightweight, comfortable, and its tone can be round or biting. It is missing its headstock ornament, but all other parts seem to be original including its metallic blue finish. Really cool looking guitar with a ton of personality and playability.
