Thank you for looking at my auction of this Music Man Stingray 5 bass. From the serial number stamped on the bridge (55939) I was able to find out that this bass was manufactured in 1995 and it doesn't look like it has it has seen a lot of playing time since it was made. This bass is in great shape without any scratches or dings to the body, the frets are in great shape and the truss rod works just fine. The only issue with this bass is that the previous owner put a screw on the back of the upper horn. not sure why it is there, other than he may have installed a strap button there. I plugged in the bass and everything works good, no issues with the electronics. the bass plays great but could use a fresh set of strings. I weighed the bass and it came in at 10.1 lbs and I also measured the width at the nut which is 1 11/16".The bass comes with the original plastic case which is in great shape except for a few scuffs on the outside. but there are no cracks on the case and the interior does not have any ripped fabric
