Plays and sounds great - Solid spruce top. DeArmond pickup is excellent and vintage.(in this NEAR MINT condition these pickups are $200+ just by themselves) Good volume and vintage tone. Never abused. Case is like new , heavy duty, with very minor scuffs, like new inside and still has the keys.. This is a wonderful looking, great playing vintage acoustic guitar. It make me want to play folk music, great for strumming softly or hard, Stairway to...good for that song too. Legendary .I have tried to represent the guitar in its current condition and have described what I can. I don't know much about these Sovereigns but I remember they were a big deal back in the 60s and 70s. A great vintage guitar, built very well to be gigged with. Hard to find this combination is such great condition. Probably the nicest example for sale right now.
