Being one of the first programmable rhythm composer, this unit has become a signature beatbox used in most R&B, Hip-hop, dance and techno music. This units distinctive sound has made this piece a classic. From booming bass drums to crispy snare to very rich sounding toms, this unit creates very original sounding drums which makes it famous.The TR-808 gives you individual control of level, tone and tuning for each drum part and each of the parts have individual output in the back of the unit along with master out and headphone out. This long loved piece has been used by many artist such as Aphex Twin, Dr. Dre, Orbital, The Prodigy, The Beastie Boys, Faithless, LL Cool J, Ice Cube, Josh Wink, Richie Hawtin, Eat Static and more. Tested and works fine prior to listing. The voltage for this item is 100V. If you use this item in countries where the voltage is more than 100V such as 200 - 240V, the item will be damaged unless you use a proper transformer.Condition This is a highly recommended unit which is in good condition for its age.
