1966 Harmony / Holiday H 19 Silhoutte Electric guitarThe Harmony Company guitar built some special order guitars from 1965-1967 for the Alden Department stores in Chicago Il. They were also sold in the Alden catalog. These were branded HOLIDAY by Aldens.This is a Harmony H19 Silhoutte guitar. It is in very good condition. There are very, very minor scuffs, scrapes or scratches. It has a minor smudge on the back of the neck from where it set in the case. Please use the magnifier to appreciate how nice a shape this guitar is in. Hardly any perfections show in the pictures.This guitar has 2 DeArmond pickups that are in great shape. It has a Brazilian rosewood fretboard. The pickups are mounted at an angle to allow for maximum tonal capabilities.
Each pickup has separate tone and volume controls. The tortosie shell pickguard is in good shape. It has the original adjustable bridge and tailpiece. The six inline tuners are in good shape and do a good job of keeping it in tune. New light weight strings were just installed. It has a straight neck and nice low action.This guitar is one of the old "catalog guitars" from the 50' and 60's that have become collectiable and expected to increase in value.You will be very hard pressed to find one of these in better condition.
