Created in the Ozark hills of Missouri, this Harvest Moon represents the highest level of attention to detail. The hand tuned and graduated AAA+ Adirondack Red Spruce Soundboard produces a full volume of sound with a rich warm tone. The Select Curly Maple Back Plate, neck and sides were hand selected for their appearance, extreme density and sound reflection abilities. The radiused fingerboard, headstock overlay and custom made fully adjustable bridge are composed of solid Ebony. All of the custom inlays are solid Abalone/MOP and the truss rod cover is solid Sugar Maple. Randy Allen at Allen Luthier Supplies custom made the satin cast Moon Beam tailpiece. Deluxe Grover tuning machines adorn the Moon Beam Original headstock. The traditional hide glue construction and varnish finishing methods have been used in musical instrument making for centuries.
