Arguably one of the RAREST guitar combos out there. I included a copy of a letter Andy Moseley (Semie Moseley's brother, the owner of the company) sent to me. There were 100 model 400/500 amps made...and 20 of the 200/1000 amps made. These were designed by Howard Dumble and Ed Sanner...ever heard of Howard Dumble?? Try to buy one of his amps! Heck the Holly Grail 63 Vibroverb only had 300 made (6 times more than this amp)!!
This example is # g004! I may put him in the M.I.M. in Scottsdale for display if a loving new home isn't found!
This is not to be confused with Mosrite Award amps models starting with BG..they were a whole different animal and used the Mosrite name without permission (see the Andy Moseley letter). They were a production spearheaded by Bob Bogle of the Ventures and are known to be very problematic!
Aside from the rarity this guy sounds incredible with rich reverb and throbbing tremolo. The 15" (Cleveland, I think) speaker does a great job especially in the lower register. The speaker code reads L-056495002...433113 leading me to believe this is a 1966 or there abouts amp. The speaker cone has Cole..12/14/05 in chalk....looks to be a recone date.
The onboard fuzz tone is killer...think Spirit in the Sky! A Mosrite Fuzzrite pedal(if you could find one) fetches $1000 and the spun aluminum knobs (11 of them) will set you back $100 each.
I've had this guy for 11 years..never had any issue whatsoever..a testament to the old time build quality. I had a 3 prong power cord installed for safety. He has NO SMOKE SMELL!  I'll gladly ship anywhere, but you must compute the shipping cost, tariff (if any) etc.   Thanks for looking Richard Aufmuth, Tucson, Az.
