This is a 2016 Gibson flying V HPI have made some changes to it as I thought it should be from the factoryFrom the factory this guitar has a satin back, sides and neck...I have wetsanded the satin parts to 5000 grit and then polished to gloss...really nice and smooth and thin finish on it.I have also removed the G-force system and installed new grover locking tuners and added the keystone / tulip buttons...this lighten the guitar even further...i also have the original kidney buttons which I will also include in the sale. The original G-force system will also be included with the guitar. If you want to install it it is fairly easy to put it back on the guitar.In the control cavity has been all rewired with new gibson pots, vintage cloth wire and an emerson .022 bumblebee capacitor. This eliminates any unneeded small gauge wire and really makes the guitar punchier in it's tone. The switch is a high quality switchcraft switch as well as the 1/4" output jack. The original wiring harness will also be included in the sale. The control cavity was also sanded smooth down to 1000 grit, the bottom has been painted flat black and the side wall covered with copper shielding tape.I have added knob pointers to the knobs, chrome covers on the humbuckers (original pickups / 57 classic in the neck / burstbucker 3 in the bridge.Locking tailpiece studs have also been added and the original ones are included in the sale.On the fretboard..it has been sanded to 2500 grit, the frets have been highly polished and the binding detailed as well.It has the original bridge with the titanium saddles and the titanium zero fret nut.The guitar plays and sounds great. It is now set up with very light .008-.038 gauge stringsPlease email me with any questions
