This lovely Accordion is a fine example of the unique and rare MORINO IIIM Piano Accordion in excellent condition.   The MORINO IIIM model was designed by Venanzio Morino, Hohner's Chief Designer, was only manufactured at Hohners main factory in Germany for four years  (1952-1955) as a slightly smaller (and lighter) version of the Morino IV.
The top quality high-end Morino series was known for its hand-made reeds and special resonance tonal chamber (Cossoto) that produces a warm bass and melodic mid-range.The Morino IIIM has 4 voices in the Treble and 5 in the bass.
In the treble right-hand, there are 35 keys ranging from A to G with nine register switches (picollo, carlinet, bassoon, lower middle, master with LMMH reeds, a lovely Musette, musette plus picollo, organ (low & middle), and harmonium (low, middle & high).  There is a register-shift on the rear of the treble panel. The Morino IIIM Accordion has 117 buttons in the bass side and three bass switches (Master, Bass Piano, and Tenor).
The 'M' designation in the Model Number makes this one of the most sought-after Hohner high-end models.
This particular Morino instrument is finished in a beautiful marbelized brown shade with inlaid switches.  Lined fitted case and leather straps included.
The Morino IIIM only weighs 19 lbs, with virtually no loss of manufacture or quality in the engineering of the instrument.    This is a full five pounds less than a Morino IV -- and makes this an ideal ladies or field-performance instrument.
