I bought my first Gretsch in 1965, it was a used Two Tone Green Anniversary Model---always wanted a Country Gentleman once I saw George Harrison play one.  The serial number on this guitar indicates that it was built in October of 1973 which would makes it a model 7670.  It has an especially sweet feeling neck, it is set up with low action to play fast and smooth.  Nothing quite sounds like a real Gretsch and this guitar has all the great sounds you would expect from an authentic Vintage Gretsch Country Gentleman.Whether you play Country, Jazz, Beatles, Neil Young, Indy, Rock---this versatile icon does it all in style.  These guitars were obviously designed to be used with a Bigsby and if you've never played with a Bigsby--- you don't know what you're missing.Cosmetically, this Gentleman is in wonderful condition, especially considering he's over 40 years old. Close inspection of the top will reveal several very small nicks and the back is also very clean with only the slightest evidence of rash, nicks or scratches. The frets are smooth and need nothing.  The pick guard looks brand new but I'm pretty sure its original.  The only signs of age are evident on the pick ups and Bigsby with some of the gold being worn off.IMHO these late 60's and early 70's Country Gentlemen are some of the best bargains around selling for a fraction of same era ES 335s and are super cheap compared to the new (made in somewhere else) Gretsch Guitars. This gorgeous Country Gentleman will ship in his original Gretsch Hardshell case accompanied by his original hang tag and warranty cards. Please be aware that eBay's shipping quotes are almost always wrong so I require that you wait until I have your shipping address and personally send you a correct invoice---this will save time and delays.  Local check out and pickup in South Florida is always available.
I have 100% positive feedback on eBay and Reverb so you can bid with confidence.
