For sale is a Used King Silvertone Cornet serial number 191xxx.
This cornet is in great shape. All valves and slides work great! The valves are just butter, and so it seems like notes just come out of the horn. I use Ultra Pure on this cornet. The bell is made from sterling silver, and has such a sweet tone to it. Scrap alone on this cornet is worth some money! I can send pictures of the sterling silver mark if need be. There are no dents or dings on the horn. All have been repaired. Please note the receiver is slightly warped from the leadpipe. It was just cleaned and is ready to go. This horn is before the Sears lawsuit for their "trumpet", which makes this a pretty cool history piece. This is a great playing horn that blends nicely in brass bands. Get this one for a steal!
