I have had my Morgan Monroe for about 3 years now, and I have to say I love it. The sound quality of it is lovely, I personally love the dark colors it has on it, and I could not be happier with it. Is it perfect? Almost…, but for the money and price range it is a great little singer.If you are looking for a Mando that isn't a beginner instrument, but can't quite afford to go big or go home with a $2-$3000 instrument, this is a great middle ground to be at. I started with a little Ibanez acoustic/electric Mandolin, and when I started playing my MM, I knew I had made the right choice. Will I eventually upgrade this guy one day? Probably not. This one is a superb instrument.Unfortunately I need to shrink my collection of instruments due some medical bills and I hate to let it go knowing that perhaps I’ll never have the opportunity of own a beautiful mando like this one…Unfortunatelly I had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH EBAY BUYER PROTECTION PROGRAM and I've been scammed buy a buyer... I will also say: When you get it, figure out what kind of strings you'd like (light, medium, etc), take it to a local, good Luthier, and have it all professionally set up for you. Having the mandolin professionally set-up will just bring out all the best qualities of the Mandolin out, and will really make it sing!
