This is a Vintage Los Angeles Benge trumpet model 6X. This is a larege bore .468 trumpet. It is in EXCELLENT condition but does have some silver chipping under lead pipe.It is NOT red rot. I had the horn checked out to make sure. Full Professional cleaning 2 months ago at Brasslab NYC. Very little use since. The lead pipe is very clean. These are very hard to come by and are some of the best playing large bore trumpets out there. This horn has a Big , Fat sound that can also be brilliant. This is an excellent choice for big band or marching. This horn has a 3rd slide trigger that is original as well as a lyre holder. Comes with original case that is also in good condition.
