THIS VERY NICE GRETSCH PEACOCK SPARKLE SNARE DRUM IS 100% ORIGINAL MINUS HEADS & SNARE WIRES. THE LUG SCREWS ALSO LOOK ORIGINAL BUT YOU VINTAGE DRUM GURUS MAY KNOW BETTER THAN I. ORIGINAL SPARKLE WRAP WITH A TIGHT SEAM & NO REPAIRS. NO PAPER TAG INSIDE AS IT IS TOO EARLY FOR THAT. SOME FADE IN THE SPARKLE BUT STILL PLENTY OF RED. THE BEST WAY TO JUDGE THIS IN THE PICTURES IS TO LOOK AT THE PICTURES WITH THE HEAD OFF. SOME PITTING ON RIMS. LUGS ARE PRETTY NICE. THIS DRUM IS IN ROUND, TENSIONS WELL & PLAYS VERY WELL. THE SNARE LEVER SOMETIMES WORKS ITS WAY TO THE OFF POSITION SO THIS WILL NEED ADDRESSED BUT IT IS RARE THAT IT DOES THIS. RARE FINISH!!!!
