Ovation Viper! Description You're looking at a vintage 1974 Ovation Viper in beautiful condition in Sunburst finish with its original hard shell case. For a 42-year-old instrument, it's very clean. Must have been well cared for. No large dings or scratches. Only some minor playing marks, and on the back their are some faint marks I believe are checking, but overall stunning shape for the vintage. These Vipers are very rare and will be hard to find many in this shape. Two great sounding humbuckers with 3-way pickup selector mini-switch. Cool looking large Volume and Tone knobs. Unique body shape with single cutaway and rear body contour. Awesome feeling 24-fret, 2-octave neck with excellent fret life. Distinctive Ovation headstock style with unique chrome/black Ovation tuners. Basically, it's not like any other electric guitar you'll see. Comfortable 8 pounds, 9 ounces. Set up great. Everything working right. Original case in good working condition. Thanks for looking!
