Description

This is one of Gibson's affordable acoustics of the 60s era. The are like the LG2 and are built with straight bracing instead of X bracing. This one is in good condition. It has the tobacco sunburst finish and the small nut width measurement. The guitar has some pretty heavy checking but there are no cracks. On this guitar the stock plastic bridge has been changed to a rosewood bridge. The rosewood looks a lot like Brazilian. The action height on this guitar is not great. It measures 7/64 and 6/64th for the low and high E strings at the 12 fret respectively. That is medium or medium plus height these days. The saddle of the bridge has been lowered. The fingerboard and frets show wear but it is not excessive. The tone of the guitar is mellow. Like a lot of other old Gibson acoustic guitars they are just cool to have around. At the moment I have a non-original soft case for the guitar to ship it in.
