This is a Bach Stradivarius model 12 tenor trombone (serial number 19353). This instrument plays well, and is fully functional, ready to play. As for the aesthetic condition of this horn, there are some small dings and pings throughout the horn and light wavyness on the bell section. There is also some light scratching and very light pitting throughout the horn. The slide action is very good, with excellent compression. The stockings are in very good condition, and have no spots of wear through. This horn is not lacquered; therefore, fingerprints should be wiped off after use if the player wishes for the horn to stay as shiny as it is now; if they are not wiped off then the horn will develop a lovely patina.
