The pick guard is custom routed for new electronics.  The guitar has 3 G&L single coils for a nice twangy sound all the way through to a nice classic rock vibe.  There are four knobs, one volume, one tone, one bass strangle, and a six way pickup selector switch for mixing and matching the various pickups.  The guitar has also been refinished in a sleek black stain. As for the history side, this guitar is a (relatively) rare six serial number T-60 with the Patent Applied For label on the headstock. The tuners and bridge are original.  It's in great condition for an almost 40 year old piece, with just some wear along the neck that really doesn't affect playability.  If you want a truly unique guitar, this one's for you.Made in the U.S. between 1976 and 1987, the Peavey T-60 was perhaps Peavey's most prominent solidbody guitar made during that era, especially being the first guitar the brand ever produced. Many believe the T-60 has been grievously overlooked when examining historically great guitars. Though it is heavy, like many Peavey products from this time period, many players have found that the tones of these guitars are so unique that it more than makes up for the instrument's mass.
