Concert Classical 47 string 7-pedal harp by Wilfred Smith of London.
A good student instrument. A full size, Concert Classical built by the English harp constructor, Wilfred Smith. It has been restrung (the strings alone cost £350!) and has a full soft-lined cover, together with a padded waterproof cover. This harp is ideal for tuition and is sensibly priced. I will consider most things in exchange for this harp. We really don't need it or use it.
Wilfred Smith's workshops in Surrey are now occupied by Pilgrim Harps. Their equivalent new version of this harp retails at £10,440. The harp has a few knocks and bruises, commensurate with its age. There is a small crack in the neck where the upper strings are attached, but it’s been there for a while and the harp stays in tune. (shown in images)
One of the pedal actions needs minor adjustment. No-one buys a Concert Grand classical harp without trying it…. Surely? Please contact me before bidding.
