This is a very nice Fender Telecaster assembled by a luthier using a 2007 Fender USA American Standard neck, serial number Z7229142. He utilized a Joe Barden bridge assembly with brass saddles on a high gloss white finish Fender Mexican body. The bridge pickup is a Rio Grande and the neck pickup is an Epiphone Firebird. A Fender Telecaster 60th Anniversary neck plate and custom cut black pickguard were installed. The control pots are CTS, and he also installed a CRL selector switch. The capacitor is a WD oil filament type. This guitar was assembled using high quality parts. The neck is straight, the string action is low, there’s no fret wear, and the guitar plays and sounds great. The neck depth is a very comfortable medium depth, C-shape neck contour. With the exception of a few fingerprints from my handling it for the photographs, the guitar is also in near mint condition. This Tele weighs a comfortable 8 pounds, 0.3 ounces and comes in a used hard-shell case with dark blue lining, with a label inside indicating it was manufactured by Ess & Ess of Brooklyn, NY. Choose 'Buy It Now', and we pay all shipping and insurance in the continental U.S., and half the mailing costs overseas. Shipping to Australia is expensive to fit a full size guitar case in a box with proper packing, unless an Aussie is willing to accept this Tele with the neck unbolted and shipped in a folded padded gig bag inside a shorter packing box, so as to meet priority mail dimensional requirements. The shipping is then just $129 to Australia, but we then must keep the hardshell case.
