The USB3 connection will give you a great performance for very low latency real-time tracking. This will permit to record with UAD plugins with minimal latency which would not be possible with a USB2.0 connection. The Apollo-series of audio interfaces have already established themselves as high-quality products with great converters and Mic preamps. The ADAT input can expand the input count up to 10 simultaneous channels. This is perfect for small to medium studios.
