 KorgTriton "Classic"61-Key DigitalSynthesizer Keyboard Workstation
Used - Good Condition
One Major Issue:  The main volume fader has an issue...it works fine when pushed all the way up to "10", but the keyboard starts to make an electronic buzzing sound that gets louder when the fader is brought down...this buzzing sound is not ear-piercing and is not louder than the sounds being played on the board, but is definitely audible except when the fader is maxed out, then it goes away.
The year was 1999...the X-Files were big on TV, Clinton was president, the Y2K problem was of major discussion, and nu-metal was inescapable...and Korg introduced the world to Triton--a digital 62-voice synthesizer with built-in sequencing, arpeggiators, stereo-sampler, and an ultra-large touch-screen control panel at the center of its face-plate.  The Triton was so popular and its appeal so wide spread that it could be seen on stage and in videos for rock bands, industrial and techno projects, hip-hop r&b musicians, metal bands, and country artists.  With 16MB RAM and space for up to 1,000 samples there's nothing you can't create with this synth. There are plenty of on-board digital effects as well for sprucing up your samples or the Triton's own internal multi-samples. Controllers on this flagship synth (for its time) include a Joystick, 2 assignable switches, 4 assignable knobs, 3 arpeggiator control knobs, inputs for a damper pedal, PC Interface Host input, and 2 audio-ins for the sampler section. There are also stereo outputs plus 4 individual outputs. A dedicated 16-track sequencer with a 100,000 note capacity, Real-Time Pattern Play functions and several Arpeggiator patterns round this beast out as a truly all-in-one music workstation.  Notable Triton users include Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, Moby, Timbaland, The Neptunes, and Brian Eno.  Despite all of todays computer-based programs and synths, the Korg Triton is and always will be a legendary digital synthesizer!  Make this one yours today!
