This is a Fantastic Violin for advanced student or professional. Heinrich Heberlein Jr. Violins are known for there construction, beauty, and mostly for their tone...this is a prime example of the Masters work. Just set-up with premium parts including; Fingerboard, Bassbar, Strings, Bridge, Tuning Pegs, and Sound Post, by one of the country's best shops, and is ready to play for another 40-50 years. Comes in a fine Bobelock case. Thanks for the questions; The repairs were done by Jim Morris. Jim worked for many years for Harry Duffy (Duffy's violins) in Coconut Groove, Florida. He did repairs and restoration work on some of the worlds finest violins by Stradivarius, Guarnerius, etc... Jim now has a shop in Phoenix Arizona. A new bassbar was fitted and tone adjusted. The violin now has a beautiful & even tone...actually far better tone than with the old bassbar.
