2002 STELLING VIRGINIAN 5 STRING BLUEGRASS BANJO MADE IN THE USA Here in Excellent + condition this used Virginian banjo has very little playwear throughoutFeatures a Stained curly maple neck and resonator, Tony Pass old wood block rim, nickel hardware, ivoroid-bound headstock, fingerboard and rim. The Virginia state bird, the cardinal, appears on the peghead, and the Virginia state flower, the dogwood blossom, on the fingerboard. Age has only enhanced the sound of this instrumentOriginal receipt, warranty card signed by Geoff Stelling, and set-up instructions included The sound of this banjo, with it's Tony Pass Timeless Timber rim, is very balanced, full & powerful with very strong and deep bass and clear trebles all the way up the neck. It is also extremely responsive with great dynamic range and capable of sweet sustaining notes when played softly or tremendous volume when played hard. It comes in an emerald green crushed velvet lined premium arched top original Stelling hard shell case in very good condition .
