This is the REAL DEAL- Vintage AMPEG SVT tube bass amp head from the 70's. Serial Number 145490. I believed when I researched this it said 1976. Made in USA. six 6550 power tubes. If you are looking for that classic tube bass amp sound, the best way to achieve it is with the amp that created it!We had the capacitors replaced about 10 years ago ( they tend to dry out after decades) and it also had new tubes ( power & pre-amp) replaced about 5 years ago. The amp probably only has about 10 -12 hours playing time on it in the last 15 years. Also, two of the original knobs were replaced ( see photos) over the years.Unit powers up and sound great!We have included a lot of photos, so please FEEL FREE to contact us with any questions !
