Rare ornate Steinway M Grand piano decorated with cultured pearls and 14 karat gold brooches with embedded rubies. Totally rebuilt, refinished and restored, summer 2016, luxury Art Case Steinway M 5'7" Grand Piano. Steinway calls this their "Western Style" Model. Only about 100 made during the Steinway "Golden Age" 1928. A collectors item. Majestic, regal, hand carved, Queen Anne Legs, decorative music desk and pedal lyre, Rocco style trim and carvings reminescent of royality throughout with 3 very distinctive hand carved emblems/medallions, one on the music desk and one each on the case above the front two legs. The gold brooches with the rubies and cultured pearls are attached to the medallions on the music desk and the right leg. Also has beautiful trim around case and another medallion with golden wings on the pedal lyre. Each leg has a seashell with two bells hanging from the bottom of it. Piano was just totally rebuilt with a brand new Steinway NY action, (hammers, shanks, flanges, knuckles,) new Alaska sitka spruce soundboard, new pinblock, new strings, pins, dampers, bridge caps. Action just regulated to concert stage performance level. Plays and sounds incredible. A perfect candidate for a Piano Disc IQ Player System Installation. Warranty. Worldwide delivery.
