Schreiber 5071 (S71) Professional Bassoon. The 5071 "Professional" model is one of the best professional instruments made by Schreiber and Söhne. Made in Nauheim, Germany of the finest alpine maple. Silver plated key work shows no wear. High D key, 9 rollers, and left thumb whisper key lock. Serial #18111. White skin pads are in excellent condition and sealing fine, all in near new condition. New retail price for this bassoon is over $10,000. Comes with case, crutch, and Schreiber FE #2 bocal. Selling due to upgrade to a Fox 601. Free UPS shipping and insurance to lower 48 states.
