Nice chunky, fast maple neck with beautiful flames. Butterscotch with the black guard sets this apart and looks like the real deal. These rarely come up for sale, so here is your chance to grab your dream machine! An exceptional example of what made the Custom Shop famous from the work of Vince Cunetto. The instrument has exceptional tonal characteristics and you feel resonance all through the guitar. The neck is extremely comfortable and super easy to play. "Vince Cunetto was responsible for bringing this concept to Fender. He worked as a contractor for Fender for 4 1/2 years aging the bodies, necks and parts. Cunetto's work is legendary! These guitars have become extremely collectible. They are not just for the collector, they are superb sounding and playing guitars that accurately represents the vibe of the fifties and sixties Fenders." The Cunetto era of CS is regarded as a real high water mark for the company, and these are highly sought after. We don't have the COA but they are available through Fender directly.
