Webber Jumbo The Webber Jumbo body is an elegant guitar, that combines the upper bout shape of an OM Style guitar with a large, circular lower bout. This tight-waisted guitar is smaller than most conventional jumbos (16" lower bout), and it's slightly shallower body fits comfortably under the player's arm.With a big, well defined bass response, and a strong mid range this guitar is a great choice for Jazz comping or rhythm accompaniment. This shape is also available with a soft cutaway for easy access to the upper frets.This Jumbo features an Englemann Spruce top paired with Sapele on the back and sides. Englemannn Spruce is a perfect topwood for many playing styles, in that it is stiff enough to flatpick while soft enough for fingerstyle players as well.This guitar is very responsive and will suit the needs of fingerstyle players very well. The Englemann Spruce top can also take an impressive amount of flatpicking. Tone is very clear with a vibrant and pleasant high end and just enough lows to balance the tone across the fretboard.Sapele is a large tree native to tropical Africa. Sapele is very similar to mahogany, in both density and the tone it produces. Due to the extremely gorgeous figuring, it is generally hard to come by in the US since it tends to be much more valuable as veneer and prices for the figured solid wood stocks are now very high. This guitar is in Excellent + Condition with only a few light surface scratches on the pickguard as well as a few on the top. This guitar is in great condition for its age!!
