This is a rare 3 row, 4 reed (LMMM) 120 bass De Luxe Model C-system chromatic button accordion made in Cleveland on Edna Ave. by John Mikus on Dec. 5, 1938. It is in excellent original condition inside and out - fully functional, cosmetically gorgeous with classic art deco late 1930s styling - very sharp looking box! The sound is incredibly loud, powerful, and full with the classic Cleveland style tuning. It has 55 treble buttons on a stepped keyboard with 3 non-functioning "dummies" at the top (low end) and 7 at the bottom (high end) . . . so 45 playing buttons set up in a C-system (C-griff) Italian style fingering pattern/layout . . . rare for a Mikus instrument, but it is 100% all original. It has a beautiful, classic black celluloid exterior with gold, and green sparkle trim/accents, with white art deco adornments. The bass side has 120 buttons set up in the typical Stradella system/style. Basses are very loud, deep and responsive. Bellows are also in good condition. The instrument is sturdily built and well-constructed for it's time and weighs 20 lbs. Comes with 3" wide black padded alpine style shoulder straps, leather bass strap, metal bellows straps, and original carrying case - all in good condition. This is a tremendous, rare instrument in great condition. You won't be disappointed in this box! Feel free to ask any further questions prior to bidding/buying, as sale if final. The instrument is described honestly and accurately. Free shipping. * * * Reduced price if purchased directly * * *
