For auction I have a Late 70's or early 80's Ludwig maple cortex drum set. I am not an expert by any means but will do my best to describe the set. (Please if you notice an error in my ad let me know.) OK first....this set sounds amazing. Lots of tone and very loud. The shells are in pretty good shape with small scratches here and there. One chip on the 12" tom by the badge (see photo) badge on same tom scratched up (see photo) sizes are 12x8, 13x9, 16x16 and 22x14. I believe the bass drum legs and tom mount have been replaced but I do not see any new holes (see photos). The hoops when I got this set were black and peeling pretty bad so I stripped and clear coated them. I think they look great with the maple color. Some of the tension rods are not original but the chrome on all the lugs, Ts and claws is in really good shape. very minor pitting.
