Powered by Frooition Pro 1970's Ibanez Custom Agent Model 2405 Electric Guitar - Sunburst w/ Case Item Description Early 1970's Ibanez Custom "Agent" Model 2405 Pre Serial Number Electric Guitar in very good condition with only a light amount of dents, dings and scratches, but nothing serious or major. Classic Sunburst finish with white binding, the original "scroll" pickguard, gold hardware and inlays behind the bridge that looks like a tailpiece. The guitar has a nice action and the thin profile maple neck with a rosewood fretboard has a great feel. The frets are in good condition with a moderate playwear.The see through exposed coil pickups with double rows of adjustable hex polepieces have good tone and output. This was a "Lawsuit" that combined some of the greatest elements of the Gibson F-5 Mandolin (headstock) , the Gibson Style 5 Mastertone Banjo (fingerboard inlays), and the Gibson Les Paul (body style and humbucking pickups). This instrument also has the more desirable "urn" headstock inlay. Also on the headstock is a non-original truss rod cover. This is Les Paul style guitar that some think was better quality than many of those coming from Norlin Gibson during that era. The guitar is equipped with a tune-o-matic style bridge, stop tailpiece and smooth-tune Star tuners. Here is your chance to get a collectible piece of guitar history. This is a good looking, playing and sounding guitar Includes what appears to be the original hard shell case.
