1968 Fender Dual Showman 85 watt  head amplifier without cabinet or speaker. Amp is 100% original except power cord and some tubes may have been replaced over the years.  Head serial # is A1157. Amp is a Silverface and in excellent condition save for minor cosmetic wear and tear.  The amp was just serviced and received a clean bill of health. It is presently for sale at Montreal Guitar and includes the original speaker- both fitted in a floor combo (1st picture). This auction is for the amp only. Though the speaker could also be sold. I purchased this amp in 1996 so I don't know the history prior to that. I rarely gigged with it and always kept it in a dry, smoke-free household. Amp has gone unused for more than a year and was recently removed from its cabinet. This amp is perfect for a collector or a performer. I've never had any issues with this amp. It's built like a tank and plays like a dream. Beautiful vintage Fender tone. 2 channels, clean and vibrato. Hosa foot-cable included for vibrato.
