Superior tuning stability The MH-427's jet black hardware was chosen to offer you total tuning stability, even under extreme tremolo use. The guitar's Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo system clamps your strings into place at the nut and bridge, keeping them from slipping out of tune despite how hard you work the bar. Everything from subtle vibrato to metal-style dive-bombs are at your fingertips without the worry of having to quickly retune. And a set of quality Grover tuners makes getting restrung as easy as possible. Tone courtesy of Seymour Duncan Even the Seymour Duncan pickups in the MH-427 electric guitar were chosen for their aggressive styling. The TB-14 Custom 5 Trembucker humbucker in the bridge position gives you the same clear performance of a coveted vintage PAF-style pickup, but with twice the output to punish the front of your amp or dirt box. The neck's SHR-1N Hot Rails humbucker comes in a compact single-coil size for optimum positioning under the string. Its ceramic magnet and hot coil wind give you a ton of output for such a small pickup. Unique fretboard design Possibly the most striking design feature of the LTD MH-427 electric guitar is the 27-fret rosewood fretboard. This elongated fretboard gives you a full 1.25 octaves on the higher strings. This offers you more note choice, notes most guitars can't achieve, and a great look. The fretboard is placed on ESP's Thin U neck profile, which is quickly becoming a favourite here for its ability to remain comfortable while still facilitating fast playing techniques.
