BEAUTIFUL YAMAHA YFL-581 (684) SOLID SILVER OPEN-HOLE FLUTE WITH B-FOOTThis is a superb opportunity to acquire one of Yamaha's most sought-after models. The 581 was an entry level professional model made between 1984-2000 and has since been upgraded to the 600 series (684). The body is solid silver throughout, the holes open with inline G and the keys and mechanism are silver-plated with french pointed key arms and drawn tone-holes. A firm favourite with wind doublers and quite often mixed with a bespoke headjoint, this is a high quality professional model, made when the standard of Yamaha models was at its best. The 581 model was made with Yamaha's new type-4 scale which has more accurately centered notes. The body is very well constructed and the mechanism light and accurate with white gold springs. This particular flute also benefits from a B-Foot, an expensive upgrade on these models. This of course allows an extra note in the range and as the flute is very slightly longer, adds to the weight of sound delivered . It also has a gizmo key which closes the B when fingering the high C. 5% DISCOUNT OFFERED - Please contact me for detailsCondition of this flute is superb throughout, the silver is in beautiful condition, pads have plenty of life and it has been fully serviced ready to go. It plays very nicely and cleanly and this is a lot of flute for the money. Due to prices of Yamaha models increasing with changing exchange rates, the 581 particularly has increased steadily in price and is one of the most sought-after professional models.Currently the flute is with my repairer in Manchester and if you are unable to try then I offer a full return policy. If after purchase and trying the flute for a week, you decide that it is not for you then you can return it for a full refund minus the postage costs already paid.
