Just arrived in the shop is this sweet 2015 Les Paul Special in Heritage Cherry. It's in mint condition and comes with all the original paperwork. With many unique improvements like the zero fret adjustable nut, modified neck joint and G-force automatic tuning system, this Les Paul is the classic instrument you know and love, but built for the modern player. We know that the G-Force system is not for everyone and the original owner was kind enough to include a set of Grover pro-tuners in the case. Don't miss out on this beauty!

This guitar was part of a trade deal and came to us virtually untouched. The glossy Heritage Cherry finish is sleek, classic and gives the double cut body an eye-catching flavor. The slim profile neck profile measures approximately .800" at the first fret and .875" at the 12th, with a slick gloss finish that really lets your hand glide around easily. The 1.795" zero fret adjustable nut is wider than the usual Les Paul but the slim taper makes the neck all the more easy to navigate. Being the 100th Anniversary model there are a few other upgrades on this model such as increased thickness of the Rosewood fingerboard for better sustain and a 3.5 degree mortise and tenon neck joint for enhanced structural integrity. The Les Paul Special features two unique P-90 pickups that offer a wonderful balance of articulate single coil tone and pure rock and roll. They are both wound with 42 gauge plain wire and wrapped around individual Alnico V rod magnets, instead of the typical P-90 bar magnet beneath the coil. The neck is wound with 9,500 turns and the bridge pickup clocks in at 10,000 so they are quite similar in output with the resistance measuring 7.71k versus 7.75k in the bridge. The result is a neck pickup that melds jazzy warmth in the low end and strat-like tightness in the mid and high frequencies. The bridge pickup kicks up the heat just enough to provide that biting classic rock rhythm tone and screaming sustain for lead playing. Both pickups together are a lot of fun to play because the dynamics of your playing can easily bring out the individual characters of each pickup. In every position the individual rod magnet design enhances clarity and note separation over a traditional P-90 pickup. If you are on the fence about P-90's, this guitar may be the push you need.The Les Paul Junior Double Cut body style is both simple and remarkably effective, and the unique 100th anniversary features make it both collectable and versatile.
