Description
Brand: Lesmann Model: Echo Amp
MPN: Echo Amp Exact Year: 1960s

This amp is in very good working condition. The electrolytic caps have been replaced by our tech. The signal is clean until about 5 on the volume control, and gradually breaks up beyond that. The drive is throaty and compressed, reminiscent of blode-era Fenders such as the Pro or Bandmaster. The noise floor is fairly low, but exhibits some of the hiss old amps are known for. The input is an integrated RCA cable tied to the Reverb tank, and is meant to be taken from a driver stage of another amplifier (this unit is originally meant for tandem use with another amplifier). Some gain will be necessary upfront, instrument level will be very quiet.CosmeticsThere are some scuffs and scratches in the tolex covering. There are some spots where the internal fibers are visible underneath the black exterior. There is some wax-like residue stuck to the tolex on the back-right corner. There is some brown discoloration in the grille cloth. Please see the photos for full details. Specs
