Up for sale, a LGX-SA guitar in excellent condition and in perfect working order. The flagship of Godin's synth access series, the LGXsa represents an incredible value and offers features found on few other instruments.Featuring a pair of Seymour Duncan covered humbuckers, an acoustic piezo transducer pickup built into the bridge, and a 13 pin synth output, the LGX-SA is an extremely versatile guitar that can truly do it all, while keeping the controls simple and intuitive. This is Godin’s Flagship top-of-the-line guitar. Some important differences between the LGXsa and the LGXT is the LGXT has a tremolo while the LGXsa does not.  However, there are some other important differences.  LGXsa (Fixed Bridge) has a mahogany body while the LGXT has a maple body.  While the difference is subtle there IS a tonal sweetness with the Mahogany body not found in the maple.  I have owned both and the difference IS audible.  The fixed bridge also stays in tune much better than the tremolo version. The LGX-SA is a three-voice guitar featuring electric and acoustic guitar sounds, plus the infinite possibilities provided by synth access. The output from the bridge transducer system in the LGX-SA produces six separate signals - one for each string. This divided signal is what Godin likes to call "hexaphonic," and is used to drive the synthesizer elements of the instrument.  Another important feature of this guitar is the ebony fingerboard which is no longer available on current models.  The ebony tracks better than most other materials for the synth pickups. The locking tuners are also standard hardware with ebony buttons and optimal tuning stability. All of the electronics work as they should, and the guitar comes stock from the factory with a Seymour Duncan Pickups.  The 5 position switch allows for both humbucking and single coil sounds.   In the upper bout of the guitar you will also find the controls for the RMC piezo pickups, and located in the bridge of the guitar are six individual piezo elements. The volume and 3-band active EQ controls allow for the ability to shape the piezo sound from a large body acoustic to a smaller parlor guitar.  Last but certainly not least, the 13 pin synthesizer output is perfect for pairing with your Roland synth for unparalleled versatility. These various pickups and output options are mounted on a solid Honduran mahogany body and AA flame maple top for a classic and enduring tone wood combination that brings out the best in all the on-board features. Cosmetically, this guitar is near mint, with only a tiny dimple on the back of the upper bout as shown in one of the photos.  The case has one noticeable flaw also shown in the photos. The deep blue transparent finish on the top reveals a gorgeous, book matched piece of flame maple and the top has a subtle carve to it as well which further enhances its classic look. I purchased this guitar from Sweetwater in June 2013 and have mostly played it in my studio.  However, I did take it to about a half dozen Praise and Worship sessions at some churches.  It has been in smoke free climate controlled buildings for its entire life.   This is a Trans Blue flame maple AA top.  It is very hard to photograph because lighting dramatically effects its appearance. I included one photo from Sweetwater’s original listing of this exact guitar. My photos make it look a bit brighter which is how it looks under certain lighting. However, the Sweetwater photo shows it a bit darker than it normally looks but is close to how it could appear in a soft lit room.  Either way, it is a beautiful guitar in beautiful condition.  I wouldn’t be selling if I hadn’t bought a PRS core guitar with piezo’s that was more than twice the price of this.  As the picky PRS player that I am I was very satisfied with this guitar.  As a matter of fact, I am so picky that Sweetwater had to send me three different guitars before I got this one which lived up to my standards. This guitar is an excellent value for what you get.  It plays very well and has good tone.  With the Piezo and 13 pin Guitar synth it’s like 3 guitars in one.  I paid $1,749.00 for the guitar. It comes with the hard shell case that I paid $119.00 extra to get.  Totaling $1,868.00.  Normal depreciation for a guitar in this class would be about 25% which would bring it to about $1,401.00 so this is what I’m asking for it as a fair price.  However, I am open to reasonable offers. The original padded Godin gig bag is NOT included, just the hard case.  Also includes strap locks that fit the original strap pins which are still on the guitar. BTW, I am also selling a Roland GR33 which might still be available on my eBay listing.  Contact me if you are interested in the whole package.  If you play for a Praise and Worship band this setup is incredibly useful and offers a huge variety of sound which can make you sound much bigger.  Using the synth to play a pad behind your guitar tones (Acoustic and Electric) can add a lot of fullness to your sound.  This sets a very good atmosphere for spontaneous worship and inspires the congregation to sing and worship more freely.
