Hello,Time has come for me to part with my very rare Ibanez "USA Custom" USRG20. I bought this guitar new sometime between 1992-1994 in Boston, Ma. I bought this guitar because I have really enjoyed the playing of John Petrucci from Dream Theater and he also started to play this guitar at that time. This is one of most balanced sound wise guitars that I have ever owned. The sound is crisp and tight. For leads, the guitar does a great job picking up your right hand picking attack. It features DiMarzio Tone Zone in the Bridge and PAF PRO in the neck. This guitar is 100% original instrument that rarely comes up on the market with no outside work done to it. (No sodering, no aftermarket knobs, etc.)This instrument was used and traveled with and there are chips and light surface scratches on the body. The guitar is still very presentable at this moment and the paint/clear coat has plenty of shine in it. Most of the imperfections are on the back of this instrument as well as on top of the upper horn. Please remember that this guitar is over 20 years old and is a used instrument. As an instrument that you can plug in, sound amazing, not worry about every single ding and get the job done in style - this guitar is a perfect candidate. The neck of the guitar as well as the fretboard is in very good shape. What makes this guitar very cool is that while most USRG20s have the original purple finish fade to rather brown color, this guitar retained all of its purple color.Additionally, I can not find a serial number for this guitar and to the best of my recollection I was told that this is one of the very first USA Customs ever made. Is there a possibility for this one to be a prototype? Definitely. Again, I was the first and only owner of this guitar and I have purchased it though an authorized dealer. This guitar does not come with the original hard shell case, but it comes with a very high quality TLK Cases guitar gig bag. This bag is one of the better guitar gig bags I have ever seen. Very well made. No rips or tears on it.Please feel free to ask any questions that you might have and I'll do my best to answer them. You can also feel free to present a decent offer which I will certainly consider.I will ship the instrument well packed via Fed Ex or UPS as soon as a payment is made. Thank you for looking. Good luck!
