1. Is it that the tone of a carbon fibre bow as great as a Pernambuco bow? Carbon fibres actually feature a uniquely fast sonic speed and low damping. It's an ideal material for bows. Due to their fiber structure, the sound is warm and clear. Also, a hank of natural horsehair and any of other parts with professional fittings are very important for the sounds. We have received many customers' email. They normally use thousands of gallery pernambuco bows and they are very surprised with our Rainbow performance as well as the price around 200 dollars. 2. How much weight is perfect for a bow? Actually, most people just care the performance of the bow. If a bow has very good resiliency, fast response and rich tone. Then the weight of this bow maybe perfect for you. Most of our bows are in standard weight. Also we have several series of lightweight bows as many customers' demand. They are easier control than usual, and have very good resiliency, will offer you a warm and clear sounds too. 3. Is every Rainbow same with another one of the series? We don't have two identical bows. Every bow is separately handmade. The natural pattern of frog, length and weight will have a slightly difference. 4. How to maintenance my Rainbow? A. Clean the bow stick after each use by wiping it down with a soft, lint free cloth. This will prevent most rosin dust, oil and dirt buildup on the stick and the hair. B. Loosen the tightening screw to separate the bow hair from the stick. C. Poor a small amount of denatured alcohol into a container. D. Dip a soft, unused toothbrush into the alcohol and gently "brush" the bow hair lengthwise, focusing on particularly dirty areas. ( Please don't get any of the alcohol on the bow stick, as it will remove the varnish. ) E. Hang the bow to dry so that the hair does not touch the stick. F. Re-attach the frog to the bow stick and tighten the screw once the bow hair is completely dry. G. Tighten the bow and rosin well. 5. Do you offer rehair service? Yes, we offer rehair service. First rehair is free of your rainbow. Buyer pay possible return shipping cost (return shipping cost will be free if you buy any of our bows in the same period of rehair). We can rehair any brand of your bows. Our prices for a rehair is shown as below. USD30 for a violin bow, USD35 for a viola bow, USD40 for a cello bow, USD50 for a bass bow. Plus possible shipping cost also (rehair and shipping cost will be free if you buy any of our bows in the same period of rehair).
