Huss and Dalton Custom Huss and Dalton Custom 00 Huss and Dalton's OO produces a surprising amount of volume out of a small bodied guitar. Very clear and balanced in tone, it is braced for light gauge strings and designed with the fingerstyle player or those a lighter touch in mind. We often commission Huss and Dalton to build us a 00 with an Engelmann Spruce top for that very reason. The response of Engelmann is perfectly suited for such players. Cocobolo takes the basic sonic thumbprint of mahogany (which has a strong midrange) and expands it in both directions. Cocobolo sounds deeper in the low end and brighter on the top end (one might describe the treble notes as zesty, sparkly or sizzly, with more articulation). If you look at its frequency range visually, rosewood would appear to be more scooped in the middle, yielding less midrange bloom than mahogany. This guitar features some of the most simple and elegant appointments Huss & Dalton has to offer, such as a Rosewood Bridge, B/W/B/W/B Wood purfling, Herring Bone Rosette, Nickel Waverly tuners, diamond and square style inlays, Rosewood body and fretboard binding, 1 3/4" Nut Width with a flat C neck profile creating and outstanding and playing neck profile. This Huss and Dalton Custom 00 Engelmann and Cocobolo is in Excellent + Condition with very minimal to no play wear and only has a few light marks on the top as well as a small wood flaw/crack on the side of the guitar at the bottom.
