Looking for all of the looks and tone of a real USA made Les Paul but don't want the high price tag? The Les Paul Studio is the answer! All of the important Les Paul specs are here. Mahogany body with a maple top for big tone. One piece mahogany neck with a trapezoid inlayed ebony fingerboard. 490R and 498T humbuckers dish out big tone. A Stopbar tailpiece and Tuneomatic bridge team up with sealed tuners for rock solid performance. The Alpine White lacquer finish is set off nicely by gold plated hardware. The Finish has aged to a nice Banana Yellow. Certainly a head-turner. A great looking guitar at an affordable price! The 90's Les pauls will be remembered as fondly as the 50's and 60's. Personally I'd take it a step further and say that the 90's was the best decade for guitar gear period. All the big companies had access to great wood, and the craftsmanship and design echoed the 50's and 60's, only they had a lot more knowledge about what they were doing. Amps harkened back to the golden era, and so did effects. But the materials and quality in the 90's were THE END of the USA golden era, with a few exceptions.This is a nice feeling Les Paul with a comfy neck. Good action and tone. The pickups sound great and everything works as it should. A solid guitar for a player or collector, this Les Paul shows Very Minimal wear for its age. The white finish has yellowed and there's some vey slight discoloration on the back, probably from a stand. The finish shows very light pick and clearcoat scratches. One or two very minor indents/dings in places. Comes in the Original Gibson Chainsaw Case.The Studio model is one of Gibson's best deals. You get a real USA made Les Paul for about half the price of a Standard.
