Right here at James' Home of Tone.The DOXA.The name? Well all Walsh guitars are derived from Hebrew words that describe the character of God. So Doxa is defined simply as 'Glory, greatness or majesty (Philippians 4:20)'. Nice right?The Doxa is an exciting new offering in Drew's development of original line of guitars. This unique reverse offset design is incredibly ergonomic and toneful and features eye-catching design elements that gives it a look all its own. This shape really spoke out to me, and is a pleasure to say that it will be the first Walsh Guitar to head into the UK. All handcrafted from the ground up, using the finest tonewoods, parts, hardware, electronics and unique to Walsh, specially designed McNelly Pickups. Specs:

Body Wood - Top grade Roasted lightweight Alder w/Belly Contour.
Neck Wood - Quartersawn Flamed Roasted Maple - Medium C Profile w/6105 frets and Clay Dots.
Fretboard - Brazilian Rosewood.
Hardware - Nickel Hipshot Locking Tuners, custom machined Rutters nickel bridge with 5/16" brass intonated saddles.
Pickguard - Custom base painted silver plexi.
Nut - Bone.
Electronics - CTS Emerson Pots w/ PIO capacitor, Switchcraft Jack & Switches.
Pickups - McNelly/Walsh design Neck Pickup with T-Bar Bridge Pickup.
Colour - Pelham Blue with Inca Silver pinstripe completely finished in Nitro.
